An end-to-end custom ERP for Surge Spinners' five-factory operation, with AI-powered simulations and forecasting layered into the core, and the start of Puro AI Labs' move into the manufacturing space, where India's largest market segment has been historically starved of software that fits how the businesses actually run.

Off-the-shelf ERPs don't fit how a multi-generational manufacturing business actually runs. The data model, the workflows, the floor reality: none of it is well-served by templated software. We're building Surge Spinners' system from scratch, with an AI simulation and forecasting layer integrated into the core, not bolted on. India's family-run manufacturers are the country's largest and richest market segment, and they've been historically starved of software that respects how they operate. This is our first manufacturing engagement; we believe it's the first of many.

Most ERP software is built for a Western or large-corporate operating model that doesn't reflect how Indian family-run manufacturing actually runs. We're designing the data model around the operation, not the other way around.

AI forecasting in manufacturing is usually a separate analytics tool bolted onto an existing ERP. We're integrating simulations and forecasting into the core, so the operations team doesn't have to leave the system to ask 'what if' questions.

Five factories, multiple generations of operating knowledge, and decisions that span the floor and the front office: the system has to respect that complexity without becoming so complex it's unusable.

Trust comes before scale. The operation runs today on working spreadsheets and tribal knowledge; the new system has to earn its place by being better, not just shinier.
Custom Next.js application with a PostgreSQL backend (Drizzle ORM), a domain model designed around how Surge Spinners actually operates, role-based access tuned to the floor + front-office reality, and an AI layer that lets the operations team run forecasting and simulation queries inside the same surface as the operational dashboards. Built incrementally (no big-bang rollout) so each capability earns trust before the next ships.
