The work lives in the gaps
Orders on WhatsApp, stock in a spreadsheet, prices in someone's head, and one person who knows how it all fits. It works, right up until that person is on leave.
For businesses with no in-house tech team.
We are the software partner a business does not have. We work out what is worth building, build it, and stay on to run it. One accountable partner owns the result, start to finish.
The problem, named
Orders on WhatsApp, stock in a spreadsheet, prices in someone's head, and one person who knows how it all fits. It works, right up until that person is on leave.
You bought the tools. Each one solves a tenth of the problem, none of them talk to each other, and your team does the joining by hand, every day.
There is no in-house team, so it falls to whoever has the time. Decisions get deferred, quotes get shopped, and the backlog quietly becomes the plan.
A freelancer or an agency ships something, invoices, and moves on. Six months later nobody can change it, and nobody wants to touch it.
Every one of those is a software problem with no software owner. That is the job we take.
Why us
Before we build, we ask what this needs to do, what it will cost to run once it exists, and whether a simpler version gets you the same result. That conversation happens with you, not instead of you. Sometimes it means we come back and suggest something smaller than what was asked for, and you decide from there.
One partner owns the result from the first question to the version running in your office. No handoffs, no account manager relaying messages.
AI is how we work, not what we sell. A small team with a serious AI pipeline ships what used to take a department, which is why this costs what it does.
The lab funds, builds and operates its own software, so nothing we tell you about running a product is theory. Creator Kamai is live and you can open it.
The retainer
Strategy and roadmap, every custom build, and the upkeep of everything we ship, on one flat monthly fee. Two tiers: Focus, one active build at a time, and Momentum, two. Where a newer tool or an AI capability genuinely earns its place in your business, we fold it in.
Two tiers, from $4,000 / month. Billed monthly in advance. Cancel any time in writing, no notice period and no exit fee.
Not every business needs a partner. Two smaller ways in, both one-time, both scoped and priced before we start:
How it runs
Free, ten minutes, and answered in writing within two working days: what we would build, or why we would not build anything yet.
Building software has got faster. Building the right software has not. Every engagement opens by learning how your business actually works, and how long that takes depends on how much there is to understand. We estimate it before you commit.
Shipped in phases so you watch it come together instead of waiting for one reveal at the end. A short written note lands every Friday, quiet weeks included.
Then it stays alive: monitored, patched, and kept current as the tools change, as part of the seat. If you ever leave, you leave with everything.
The proof
The clearest thing to judge us on is the software we funded, built and run ourselves. Creator Kamai is the business back office for Indian creators: deals, invoices, GST and TDS, rates, and chasing money that is owed. It is live, it takes payments, and it ships every week. Open it and poke at it.
Client work is logged in the open too, with the client's comfort leading: named, anonymous, or described without them. Where something is still in build, the entry says so.
The Lab
One half of this business builds software for other people. The other half builds it for ourselves, funds it, and runs it. Some of it is a real product you can pay for today. Some is a prototype that works and may never become anything. Some is an idea we have not started yet.
It is the clearest thing to judge us on, because you can open it instead of reading about it. Creator Kamai is live: the business back office for Indian creators, taking payments and shipping every week.
Some of these get built with a creator on the inside, who brings the audience and takes a share of what the product earns. We do one or two a year and the first slot is open. The partnership, in full.
Where to start
You run a real business with real complexity and no in-house tech team, and you would rather have one accountable partner than a vendor per tool.
You have a full engineering team, you want someone billing by the hour, or a subscription already solves your problem. We will say so in the written answer and save you the money.
The brief is free, takes ten minutes, and gets a straight written answer within two working days. We take on very few clients at a time, so the calendar is the real constraint.
