These terms govern the services sold on this site. By submitting a brief, booking a call, or paying an invoice, you accept them.
Four things, each described honestly on its own page: a fractional CTO retainer, one-time websites and pitch decks, revenue-share product partnerships with creators, and a paid Discovery Call.
Everything starts with the brief, which is free and creates no obligation on either side.
The fractional CTO retainer is billed monthly in advance. In India it is ₹2,00,000 + GST per month on Focus and ₹3,50,000 + GST per month on Momentum. Outside India it is $4,000 per month on Focus and $7,000 per month on Momentum, the same wherever you are. We never change a rate mid-month, and any change to your rate is agreed with you in writing before the month it applies to. Any introductory rate we agree is put in writing with the date the standard rate begins.
Our fee is for our work and nothing else. Whatever a build runs on, hosting, subscriptions, API usage, and any third-party service, is yours: set up in your own accounts where we can, or billed on to you at cost where we cannot. We tell you before anything starts costing money.
Every engagement opens with an understanding period: we learn how your business works before we build for it. How long that takes depends on how much there is to understand, and we give you our estimate before you commit. Where the information we need has to be captured or structured before software can use it, that work is part of the retainer and not a separate charge. In the months it is happening you will see fewer new builds, and the weekly note says plainly which kind of work a week was.
Once the shape of a build is agreed, we work to a published rhythm, counted in working days from when a request comes up the queue: small changes usually within a working day, medium changes in about two to three, larger builds in phases of about a week, and a first usable version normally in your hands inside two weeks. These are the norms we run to, not guarantees for any single item, and we tell you in the weekly note whenever something is going to miss them.
The fee covers the technical strategy, the roadmap, the builds in your queue, and keeping what we have shipped for you working. We work one build at a time on Focus and two on Momentum; everything else waits in the queue. Hardware, networks, devices, and software supplied by other vendors are not included, and neither is travel outside Mumbai. Anything outside this is quoted and approved before we start it.
You can pause or cancel at any time, in writing, with no exit fee. Cancelling stops all future billing. A month that has already started is not refunded pro rata, and you keep our full attention for the rest of it. Anything still open when that month ends comes to you as it stands, and if you want us to finish it, we quote that separately.
What we build for you is yours. Ownership of the custom work passes to you as each month is paid, and because the retainer is billed in advance, that is from the day we start. The tools and internal systems we bring with us stay ours, and you keep a free, permanent right to use them inside whatever we built for you. Third-party software keeps the licence its own owner sets.
The handover happens inside your last paid month: the code and its history, your accounts and credentials moved into your name, a written runbook for each build, and a recorded walkthrough of each major system. Where something of yours sits on infrastructure we share across clients, we set up your own account and move it across, and we tell you at once if anything has to be rebuilt instead. For thirty days after that we answer handover questions by email at no cost. That window is for questions, not new build work.
Websites and pitch decks are one-time engagements against a fixed written quote. The quote is the price; there are no hourly meters and no surprise line items. Anything outside the quoted scope is quoted separately before we build it.
The advance reserves your slot and is non-refundable once work begins. Ownership of the deliverable transfers to you on full payment.
The Partnership is the studio's revenue-share practice: we build and run digital products with creators and share in what they earn.
Each partnership is governed by its own written agreement covering scope, revenue splits, obligations, and exit. Where that agreement and these terms differ, the written agreement prevails.
The Discovery Call is 45 minutes with the studio, priced at ₹3,000 + GST, prepaid, and booked against a completed brief.
The fee is strictly non-refundable. You get one free reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice. Less notice, or a no-show, consumes the booking.
The brief is free. Submitting it creates no obligation on either side: you owe us nothing, and we owe you nothing beyond an honest written reply, which we normally send within two working days. If we are not the right studio for the job, we say so.
Payments are processed by Razorpay. GST at 18% applies to Indian billing. Prices are stated exclusive of GST unless noted otherwise.
Invoices are due on the terms stated on them. We may pause work on accounts with overdue invoices after written notice.
We build carefully and stand behind what we ship. You are responsible for the accuracy of the material, access, and approvals you give us, and for how you use what we deliver in your own business.
Our total liability on any engagement is capped at what you paid us for it in the three months before the claim, and on one-time work at the fee for that piece of work. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data. Nothing here limits liability the law does not allow us to limit.
Anything you share with us to get the work done stays with us. Your numbers, your customers, your pricing, your processes, your unreleased plans: we use them to do your work and for nothing else. We do not pass them to anyone outside the studio without your say-so, and that holds after the engagement ends.
Inside the studio, only the people working on your account get access. If you would rather have a confidentiality agreement on your own paper, send it and we will sign it. When we are done, tell us and we return or delete your material, apart from records the law requires us to keep.
We often share the work we do: in our portfolio, in our content, and with other prospects who are weighing up something similar. What that shows is the craft, what was built and how it works, never your confidential information, customer data, or commercial numbers.
Your comfort leads, and we settle it with you before anything goes out: named, anonymous, or entirely off the record. If you would rather we did not name you, say so and we anonymise the showcase or work around your concern, no friction. A signed confidentiality agreement between us overrides this section wherever the two conflict.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
